Daisy Cottage
Daisy Cottage

Kim
My name is Kimberly McCole, but "Kim" to my family and friends. I'm a native Floridian and have been decorating pretty much my whole life - was always rearranging my childhood bedroom and my friends' rooms and tacking things on my walls ...  much to my mother's chagrin at times. Along with being married and a full-time homemaker and mother, I've immensely enjoyed decorating each of our homes and especially enjoyed doing so with gathered thrift shop and yard sale finds and various, treasured collections along the way. I adore styling - especially creating vignettes - and have a tremendous amount of fun creating those in our home and changing them up all the time.
I found out about blogs when I was perusing through Flickr one day and was so glad that I did! I started my own, really having no clue as to what I was doing, and with very limited 'puter saavy. I was thrilled and so appreciative when "Dear Daisy Cottage" had her first guests and I have cherished every one who has stopped by.

I love sharing "Daisy Cottage" with other like-minded souls and I have really enjoyed gaining beautiful inspiration from all of the other talented bloggers in Blogland who share of themselves so generously.

"Dear Daisy Cottage" has been featured in "Romantic Homes" and published in "Artful Blogging". "Dear Daisy Cottage" was also a Typepad Featured Blog.

Why we love & recommend this blog?

I met Kim when she posted a comment on my blog a few months ago. In addition to blogging we have something very special in common.  We both have silver dapple long haired mini dachshund girls who we love and adore. Kim’s Miss Maggie is so, so beautiful and she shows her off on her blog. Be sure to check her out during your visit to Daisy Cottage.

Kim's charming cottage home was recently on the Historic Home & Garden Tour in her area. Oh how I wish I could have been there to wander through all her beautiful rooms and spaces.

While visiting her blog, you will find many wonderful treasures and vintage finds that welcome you, and will make you never want to leave.  So head on over to Miss Daisy Cottage, Kim is waiting there for you.
