I simply LOVE gathering items and ideas and combining them to create fun charming accents for spaces around my home, inside- -out..!!! Desperate To Diva allows me to express everyday life in fun, humorous and sometimes helpful little stories that are really, really true.
My blog was created in July 2007 as a spin off of my new web site, Desperate To Diva, as a marketing tool. At that time I had NO IDEA what a blog really was or the purpose of it. I was clueless. However, as my interest peeked, I began blog surfing and found myself intrigued by all the wonderful and creative blogs and talented people who were writing them. I decided this was something I NEEDED to do in order to promote my business.
As I humbly began my first post, the blog bug bit me and is now in my blood. I LOVE IT….!!!! I found the PERFECT way of expressing myself and sharing with others fun and inspirational stories and ideas. My new hobby was born and I was hooked. Within a few weeks of learning to blog, I was contacted by TWO magazine editors asking me for permission to feature some of my products. I was so honored and thrilled and have now been featured in Romantic Country Magazine and Romantic Homes. Most importantly, are the truly amazing blogging friends I have met since venturing out into Blogland. I adore them all and am a very lucky gal.
