My name is Cielo, which literally translates “sky” in my Mother Tongue. I am quite passionate about gardening—from daffodils to geraniums to my love of roses to the wisdom of nature. Inaudibly, it was gardening what introduced me to blogging, last fall. I yearn to share my gardening joys, to express what I see, hear and feel when I’m in my little sanctuary: the flamboyant roses dancing in the sun, the breeze stirring the branches of the lilac trees, the sweet scent of magnolias, the pungent smell of moist soil and the red petunias and climbers competing with the blue sky for attention. So much grandeur; so much beauty I find in my garden that it becomes my little house of prayer; a wonderful house I want to share with others. |
I never thought, that my love for nature would become such an important part of my life through blogging. Blogging is therapeutic; it’s almost instrumental in opening our inner self to what’s around us, to other people’s feelings and our relation in respect to them. Inadvertently, I find myself captivated by the things learnt from wonderful woman I’ve never seen in my life, the lessons they generously teach me by sharing their stories and opening their hearts. I’ve learnt that sometimes even my own shortcomings can help others; and that’s the real joy of blogging. |
