I'm honored to have been asked to be a part of the Blog Hall of Fame! I accept this offer with great humility. Thank you so much for the privilege of being a part of such a great group. I am fairly new to blogging, having never even read blogs prior to starting my own last summer. I have been amazed and in awe of the talent in blogland. Likewise, the network of support I have found has been extremely positive and encouraging!

My blog is primarily a way for me to share my passion for creating a beautiful home. My business motto is "When life inspires our home, our home will inspire our life." From that perspective, I focus my posts not only on decorating ideas but the importance of creating a beautiful and well-lived life. It all works together! Now and then I share some of the crazy things that happen in my world (I am a wife and a mom of three). I am happy to give everyone a good laugh at my expense.

In addition to blogging and being a busy mom, I run my own interior design business, also called The Inspired Room®. I consult with people every day on how to pull together their own unique style, oftentimes using things they already have. I absolutely love what I do, and due to many requests, I will soon be offering "Virtual Consulting" through my business web site so I can help people online as well. I am also a monthly lifestyle & design columnist for Christian Women Online magazine. It is a joy to have been given so many opportunities to be a part of the wonderful community I've met through blogging!
